For Senescere, I have photographed ancient natural areas and envisioned a photographic installation as a reflection on how we relate to the experience of ageing nature through photography. If these spaces exist today is because luckily, humans have not interfered, strangely. In this museum piece, nature is there visually in excerpts, but we can ́t feel the real experience, breath the air, smell, listen. The photographs intend to make believe we are experiencing nature, but there is an inanimate sensation, akin us experiencing the world through photography (and screens) The idea of Plato ́s cave and the simulacrum also comes across, as photography highlights the  deceptiveness of an experience.
